About Colour
Our individual soul comprises of and is influenced by three elements – body, mind and spirit. We need to relate to all three of these elements of our being to be fulfilled, powerful and complete.
We have a lot of knowledge and experience on how to relate to our body and mind but spirit can be a little illusive. Subtle energies of soul, are too vast and infinite for us to understand, but we can experience and feel them especially through the energies of colour.
Colour is the perfect vehicle and communicator. Colour is the bridge to the inner world of subtle energies and also our outer world of physical matter and gross energies. Through the science of colour we can expand our thinking and communicate with our soul through body, mind and spirit.
Colour is a powerful tool it affects us on every level of our being. Colour forms the interactive components and intelligent vibrations of light. Each colour within the spectrum vibrates at a different frequency. Each colour is coded with information to balance, transform and energize enabling energy to create. It is better to interpret colour through ones intuition and sensory perception rather than through the mind, as the mind cannot understand the subtle vibrations of energy or the soul.
Colour is a science – the study of light. When studying or working with colour it is wise to remember that the colours within the spectrum do not work independently of each other. They work together as a body; their vibrations interrelate with each other and are dependent on each other to from a body of light or energy.
Even though one colour can be separated to work with, on a particular issue, the other vibrations of the spectrum are always subtly supporting the reflected colour to bring harmony and balance on every level. Just as in your body the brain doesn’t work independently of the digestion system or the heart, all systems rely on each other and work together to create the efficient workings of the body as a whole.
The intelligence of colour is a wondrous and constant journey of discovery and it is my great pleasure to share with you my passion and knowledge of colour.
